CityRailTransit.com
provides information about rail-based transit networks
within cities for railway fans and travellers who are
planning a visit, bringing practial information as well
as rail transit maps. Due to our geographical location,
first cities to be posted are mainly located in southern
Europe although central and northern European networks
will be added in a near future. CityRailTransit.com´s
main goal is to provide brief but valuable information:
length of the lines, underground/elevated sections,
opening dates, operation hours, trains´ frequencies,
etc.
CityRailTransit.com´s
real-distance Rail
Transit Maps (click here! for a list of
sites offering free
Allopass´ Access Codes) includes every
kind of rail transit routes within a
city: width lines denotes
"exclusively right of way"
(like heavy rail/suburban trains, metro
lines, prémétro/stadtbahn
sections, funiculars, etc.) and narrow
lines denotes streetcar/light rail
service (every kind of rail based transit
system sharing tracks with road traffic
or pedestrians) even runing along
reserved platform.
